Palash Mucchal Cheating Allegations Surface on X

Indian cricket vice captain Smriti Mandhana has been at the centre of intense speculation following the indefinite postponement of her wedding to music composer Palash Muchhal. The couple, who were scheduled to marry on November 23 in Sangli, abruptly put the festivities on hold after a medical emergency in the family. This sensitive development, combined with Smriti’s subsequent social media activity, has fueled widespread rumors and online discourse.

The Postponement and Hospitalisation

Smriti Mandhana’s wedding has been deferred after her father Shriniwas Mandhana took seriously unwell in the morning and had to be rushed to the hospital. The manager of the cricketer confirmed that the player, who is very close to her father, decided to indefinitely postpone the wedding till her father is recovered completely. Her fiancé Palash Muchhal, too, was reportedly briefly admitted to the hospital but was discharged later and is now recuperating in Mumbai.

Sister of Palash Muchhal, playback singer Palak Muchhal posted a statement on her Instagram stories to clarify the situation and urge privacy. She confirmed the postponement was only because of the health of Smriti’s father.

Why Smriti Mandhana deleted her Instagram posts

In the days that followed the postponement of the wedding, Smriti Mandhana removed all wedding-related content from her official Instagram account. She took down her viral proposal video, her engagement announcement, and pictures and reels of the pre-wedding rituals like the Haldi, Mehendi, and Sangeet. Her teammates Jemimah Rodrigues and Shreyanka Patil took down the announcement video from their social media profiles.

While the deletion of posts intensified online speculation about a rift between the couple, sources close to the family and the official statements confirm that the decision was made due to the unexpected family health emergency. It’s worth mentioning that although all wedding-specific posts were removed, some casual photos of Smriti with Palash posted earlier still remain on her Instagram.

Unverified Rumours of Palash Muchhal

Meanwhile, unsubstantiated rumors started doing the rounds on social media, claiming that Palash Muchhal had cheated on Smriti Mandhana. The rumors cropped up from sites like Reddit. Speculations were made from some screenshots of flirtatious private chats between Palash and a woman, reportedly the choreographer for the wedding events. These viral screenshots, which have not been authenticated so far, show the user named as Palash allegedly complimenting the woman and asking to meet her while reportedly referring to his long distance relationship with Smriti feeling “dead most of the time.”

These cheating rumors have not been confirmed through any major news outlet, nor has Smriti Mandhana or Palash Muchhal spoken a word about them. The only confirmed information remains the indefinite postponement of marriage on account of the hospitalisation of Smriti’s father.

In the wake of what has happened, the families ask that everyone focus on Shriniwas Mandhana’s health and recovery, and they be given their privacy at this critical juncture. Presently, the social media buzz indicates how intense the scrutiny may be on public figures, even in personal crises.
