All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 Expected Release Date

The wait for the return of Hyosan High survivors has been a long and grueling one. Since the first season of All Of Us Are Dead exploded onto Netflix in early 2022, fans have been desperate to know what happens to the half zombies and the surviving students. As of late February 2026, we finally have significant updates regarding the production status and the potential release window for the next chapter of this Korean zombie epic.

Production Wraps in February 2026

The most exciting news for K drama fans is that All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 has officially finished filming. Production reportedly concluded on February 19, 2026, after approximately seven months of intense shooting. Lead actresses Park Ji Hu and Cho Yi Hyun shared glimpses of their wrap parties on social media, featuring celebratory cakes and heartfelt messages to the crew.

This milestone is a huge relief for the audience, as the project faced several delays due to scheduling conflicts among its rising star cast. With the cameras finally stopped, the series has now moved into the heavy post production phase. Given the high volume of visual effects and intricate zombie makeup required for this show, this stage is expected to take several months.

Potential Netflix Release Date Window

While Netflix has not yet pinned down a specific day for the premiere, industry insiders and production timelines suggest a two fold possibility. Earlier rumors pointed toward a late 2026 release, specifically around December, to capitalize on the holiday binge watching season.

However, many experts believe an early 2027 release is more realistic. Because the show was not included in the initial Netflix 2026 Korean Slate announcement, the streaming giant might be holding it for a blockbuster start to 2027. Regardless of the exact month, the finish line is finally in sight for a series that has been in development for nearly four years.

Returning Cast and New Survivors

The core group of survivors is set to return, though the biggest question remains the fate of Lee Cheong san. Despite the fiery finale of the first season, actor Yoon Chan Young is confirmed to be part of the Season 2 cast. Whether he appears in flashbacks or as a “Hambie” hybrid remains a closely guarded secret.

The confirmed returning cast includes:

  • Park Ji Hu as Nam On jo
  • Yoon Chan Young as Lee Cheong san
  • Cho Yi Hyun as Choi Nam ra
  • Lomon as Lee Su hyeok

Joining the veteran cast are some fresh faces that have fans buzzing. Roh Jae won, known for his role in Squid Game, is joining the series as a leader within the National Intelligence Service. Other new additions include Lee Min jae and Kim Si eun, who will likely play university students caught in the new wave of the outbreak.

What to Expect from the Season 2 Plot

Director Lee Jae kyu has hinted that while the first season was about the survival of students within a school, the second season will focus on the survival of zombies and hybrids in a world that fears them. The story is expected to jump forward in time, following Nam On jo as she starts her life at a university in Seoul.

The virus is reportedly evolving, making it more deadlier and harder to contain. The conflict will likely shift from escaping a building to navigating a society where the line between humans and “Hambies” has blurred. With the setting moving from the countryside of Hyosan to the densely populated streets of Seoul, the scale of the horror is set to reach an all time high.
